Here's an overview of what you should expect during the update: Note: During the update, Chromecast will not be available to cast. Wait until the update is complete to try to cast. To do this, on your Chromecast with Google TV home screen, choose Settings About System update. You'll need to access your Chromecast updates from your TV. If you have a Chromecast with Google TV, the update won't appear in the Google Home app. This is done automatically as part of setup so there's nothing you need to do to receive the update.
